  First thing I did after receiving it was to submerge it in a sink. No leaks, and after making sure the speaker area was shaken free of any water still sounded great. No worries if this thing gets knocked in the pool.

It lacks some quality on the mid-range but its only noticeable when you are indoors and its really quiet around. You have to be careful not to turn the volume on your ipod to 100%, it will result in distorted sound even at low volume levels on the speaker, 70% recommend.
